For Children’s Sake of Virginia (FCS) is a licensed, private nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children and families across Northern Virginia. Founded in 1997, FCS provides a wide range of services including therapeutic foster care, pre-adoptive support, outpatient therapy, adult mental health care, and youth mentoring. With a diverse, professional team and a commitment to individualized, holistic care, FCS partners with families, schools, and community organizations to support long-term growth, healing, and independence. The organization also plays an active role in training future professionals through its internship programs with local colleges.
At the heart of FCS is a deep belief that every child deserves a loving, competent family environment. The agency trains and supports therapeutic foster parents who are equipped to meet the emotional, developmental, and cultural needs of children in their care. Guided by principles of integrity, respect, and excellence, FCS emphasizes competency-based support and tailored service plans to ensure both children and families thrive. Accredited by CARF and licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services, FCS is a proud member of several national and regional child welfare associations, continuing its mission to empower families and transform lives—for children’s sake.
Since 2004, the All State Game has provided an environment for the best athletes to be recognized and rewarded for their success in preparation, skill & sportsmanship. In addition to providing the players and families with an incredible experience, the event is notable for its charitable efforts in collecting gift cards, school supplies, and backpacks for underprivileged youth.
The game prides itself in not charging spectator fees but rather encouraging families to bring gift cards that are donated to the local foster care programs. So far we have raised over $250 000 for at-risk youth!
