That instability usually comes with urgent, practical needs: school essentials (backpacks, supplies), basic personal items, gift cards for immediate necessities, and consistent support systems that most people never have to think about.
That’s why All State Game ties competition to purpose. ASG creates a moment that’s earned in the game—and meaningful off it. When our community shows up, a portion of participation and giving flows into real, tangible support for kids in care, delivered through vetted local and state partners. It’s not performative. It’s practical. And it’s meant to be easy for anyone to understand: athletes get recognized, and kids in foster care get essentials and support.

FAQs
Where do the charity proceeds go?
The game prides itself in not charging spectator fees but rather encouraging families to bring gift cards that are donated to the local foster care programs. So far we have raised over $250 000 for at-risk youth!
How do I get nominated?
Your nomination can come from a coach, or you can request a nomination on our website by visiting www.allstategame.org/request-nomination/. If you are requesting nomination, your coach must endorse you as one of the best players on the team. You will need to provide footage that showcases your core offensive / defensive strengths.
How do I secure sponsorship?
In the past we have had a variety of different sponsors, namely local businesses (that the family supports), friends and even family members. We have had some player with multiple sponsors and others with just 1 so whichever way works for the player and their family is great. We provide you with a sponsorship form you can share with family, friends, as well as local businesses that your family supports. Click here to learn about the full sponsorship process.
What is provided at the event?

Who are the coaches?
Our coaches are carefully selected from our network of highly qualified, experienced coaches with a passion for the game and youth sports.
What if I can’t afford to pay the fee?
We strongly encourage participants to secure sponsorship support. Sponsorships can come in all forms, most popular being local businesses. We provide athletes with guidance as well as documentation to support your successful sponsorship.
Do you offer scholarships if I cannot afford to pay and cannot obtain sponsorship?
The All State Game wants every accepted athlete to be able to attend, regardless of their financial situation. Should any family be unable to cover the program costs, they will get fully waived of any fee commitments. Please contact [email protected] to apply for this scholarship.
When is the event?

What is your cancellation policy?
- If you cancel your registration within 7 days of registration, you will be eligible for a full refund.
- For cancellations after 7 days from registration, we will not be able to provide a refund for any reasons. This policy applies as we secured your spot at the game, rather than inviting the next deserving player.
- In the event that the All State Game is cancelled on our behalf, a full refund of participation fees will be issued.

What is the EXACT Rankings partnership, and how does it benefit athletes?
We are proud to partner with EXACT Rankings, a premier platform that ranks and provides coverage for top athletes in grades 6-12. All athletes nominated for the All State Game will be featured on EXACT Rankings, receiving valuable recognition and exposure to college coaches. This coverage helps build credibility and opens doors for future opportunities in their athletic careers.

What are the lodging options for athletes attending the All State Game?
The All State Game does not offer a residential program, so athletes and their families are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. We recommend booking hotels within 15-20 minutes of the event facility for convenience. Platforms like Booking.com or Expedia can help you find suitable options.
As the event date approaches, we will provide important updates, including parking details, event schedules, and other logistics to help make your experience smooth and enjoyable.

What is included for families?
Families are welcomed as part of the ASG experience. Benefits include:
- Free spectator access (no ticket fees)
- Opportunities to participate in charitable giving (gift cards, backpacks for foster youth)
- Access to concession areas and family-friendly viewing zones
- Community-building with other athlete families
While workshops are athlete-focused, families may attend select sessions and meet coaches during designated times.
Does ASG offer flag or tackle football?
ASG currently offers tackle football for middle school athletes. Flag football is not part of the current format.
Should athletes bring their own (Football) equipment?
Yes. Athletes must bring their own pads, cleats, and personal gear. ASG provides official game jersey but does not supply full equipment.
Will my athlete be featured online?
Yes! Athletes may be highlighted on ASG’s website, social media, and recruiting platforms. Interviews and testimonials are often recorded during the event.
Media coverage (including photos, highlight reels, and interviews) is shared via ASG’s social media channels and YouTube partners. Athletes featured on the ASG Watchlist will also appear on EXACT Rankings.
How long does the event last?
Most ASG events run for 3 days, depending on the sport and location. Athletes receive a full itinerary closer to the event date, including arrival times, game schedules, and workshop sessions.
