Your nomination gives them the opportunity to showcase their skills, compete alongside the state’s best, and earn elite-level recognition. Honor their dedication by nominating them today and open the door to an unforgettable experience.

In the world of youth athletics, few roles are as pivotal as that of a coach. More than mere strategists, they are mentors, motivators, and, perhaps most importantly, guardians of a young athlete’s journey. One such impactful figure is Patrick Little Jr., who, in 2025, will proudly step into the role of Head Coach for the prestigious All State Game. With a rich history steeped in football at both player and coaching levels, Patrick is not just bringing his expertise to the sidelines; he’s bringing a vision—a vision that encompasses dedication, community, and relentless passion for the game.

A Journey Forged in Excellence

Patrick’s path began at Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo, California, where his multifaceted talent as an All-League Running Back and Defensive Back set the stage for an impactful playing career. Following a successful tenure at Jesse Bethel, he further honed his skills at Contra Costa College, transitioning from player to coach and deepening his understanding of the game. His journey took him from Texas Southern University back to Jesse Bethel, where he began planting the seeds of his coaching legacy.

From 2012 to 2020, he shaped not just players, but entire teams, as the Running Backs and Defensive Backs Coach and later as the Offensive Coordinator. His tenure at Jesse Bethel saw the transformation of a collective strategy into a powerhouse of execution, paving the way for future successes. His next ventures at ELITE Academy and Rodriguez High School further solidified his role as a leader in shaping young athletes, with his 2023 position as the JV Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Armijo High School showcasing his versatility and adaptability in coaching.

In 2024, Patrick returned to ELITE to become the Director of Football Operations and Assistant Athletic Director, also making groundbreaking strides as the inaugural Head Coach of the Girls’ Flag Football team. His extensive experience reflects a dedication to not just the sport of football, but to nurturing and expanding opportunities for young athletes—regardless of gender or background.

Impact Beyond the Field

He understands that the challenges faced during these high-stakes games mirror life’s broader hurdles, and his approach focuses on teaching athletes how to navigate them.

Patrick’s role in the youth community as President, Athletic Director, and Head Coach of the Vallejo Jr. Jaguars also highlights his commitment to grassroots efforts, ensuring that young players have the foundational skills and mentorship necessary to succeed at higher levels. His influence extends far beyond the immediate realm of competitive football, as he passionately advocates for inclusivity in sports and champions those striving to overcome obstacles.
