Director of Team Idaho: Cameron Andersen
A lifelong Idaho native from the small town of Murtaugh, Cameron has dedicated his career to coaching and fostering talent across the state. With a coaching career that began immediately after high school, Cameron became a head coach at just 24 years old. His tenure at Gooding, Idaho, spans 13 successful years, during which his teams earned seven state trophies. His contributions to the All State Game have been monumental, having coached two of Idaho’s football standouts: Michigan All-American Colston Loveland and 5-star WR and Oregon commit Gatlin Bair.
As the Director of Team Idaho, Cameron brings unparalleled experience to the 2025 season. His goal is to help select the top talent from every corner of the state and support athletes as they prepare for the ultimate All State Game experience. Cameron is deeply passionate about the All State Game, having coached in the event for over a decade. His continued involvement and leadership promise to elevate the 2025 season to new heights.
When asked about his new role, Cameron said, “I am honored to join the All-State Game in this capacity. This event has been a cornerstone of Idaho football, and I am excited to contribute to its continued growth and success.”
Director of Team Treasure Valley: CJ Burgess
A dynamic leader with a deep commitment to mentorship and community, CJ Burgess steps into the 2025 season as the new Director of Talent for the Treasure Valley. With a diverse background in business, military service, and athletics, CJ brings unmatched energy, discipline, and heart to the All State Game mission.
CJ is currently President of Crown Gold Exchange Idaho and Co-Owner of Game Time Sports, a premier youth athletics organization in Meridian. A former Superintendent in the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineers, CJ served with distinction for over two decades. His experience leading teams under pressure translates seamlessly into his work guiding and supporting young athletes.
A passionate advocate for youth development, CJ thrives in high-stakes environments and has a proven record of building winning cultures. His ability to connect with both coaches and families across the Treasure Valley will be instrumental in identifying and uplifting the region’s top football talent.
“I’ve always believed in pouring into the next generation,” CJ says. “The All State Game is more than just a showcase—it’s a celebration of grit, hard work, and the communities that shape these young athletes. I’m honored to help carry that tradition forward in 2025.”
