As a Coach Engagement & Activation Specialist, you will be the catalyst who transforms under-engaged Directors of Talent (DoTs) into active contributors to the All State Game nomination process. This contract role is designed for a highly energetic and creative communicator who thrives on direct outreach and personalized engagement. You will work 15–25 hours per week over an 8–10 week period, with compensation of up to $10,000 for the duration. Your efforts will be critical in nurturing relationships, providing hands-on support, and iterating strategies to drive measurable success.
The event is an annual nomination-based program that celebrates & inspires the best youth athletes across the community. The program began in 2004 (in our 19th year) and has had many of these youth alumni go on to become college and pro players (and to have children attending future events too!).
Athletes can participate without financial burden by receiving local community support. We help facilitate the sponsorship process and typical sponsors in the past have included local businesses like "Black Rock Auto Sales", regional law firms like "Smith Knowles Attorneys" and local stores such as "Dutch Bros Coffee". We do require a deposit to guarantee each participant's spot.
In addition to our primary mission of recognizing the best youth athletes, we support local charities through a gift card program. We do not charge gate fees to attend -- your friends and family get free admission! But, we encourage spectators to bring gift cards donated to low-income kids. At our last event in Idaho, we raised over $22,000 for foster children.
The All State Game includes a series of programs including the game itself, where top players in the state compete. Participants receive high level instruction from top coaches as well as participate in a combine-style skills evaluations to celebrate each player’s potential. There are awards ceremonies to recognize the potential of our state’s best athletes.
