Her dedication paid off when she transitioned to college volleyball, where she showcased her defensive skills at Dana College in Nebraska from 1999 to 2022.

This wealth of experience—as both a player and a coach—has shaped Tahia into a formidable figure in the volleyball community. Since embarking on her coaching career in 2022, she has become the Head Volleyball Coach at the Upper School for Girls at Annie Wright Schools in Tacoma, Washington. In addition to her role at Annie Wright Schools, Tahia founded the MALU Volleyball Club, where she serves as Director and Head Coach.
