In the high-stakes world of high school football, few coaches have demonstrated the consistency, creativity, and leadership of Coach Bryan Irion, a proven play-caller and mentor whose offensive systems have shaped some of Washington’s most dominant programs. As a confirmed coach for the 2026 All State Game, Irion brings with him more than a decade of championship experience, a reputation for record-setting offenses, and a passion for helping young athletes reach their full potential.

A Career Defined by Excellence

With 11 years of coaching experience, Coach Irion has earned widespread recognition for his success at the helm of elite offensive units. During his decade-long tenure as Offensive Coordinator at Yelm High School, he helped transform the program into one of the most explosive and respected in the Pacific Northwest. His offensive mastery culminated in 2022, when Yelm captured the WIAA 3A State Championship—the first in the school’s history—and shattered records by scoring 696 points, the most ever recorded by a team in the region that year.

A New Chapter at Timberline High School

Now entering his first season as Offensive Coordinator at Timberline High School, Coach Irion continues to build on his legacy as one of Washington’s premier offensive minds. His approach—rooted in adaptability, player empowerment, and precision execution—has already begun to shape the Timberline program with a renewed energy and focus.

Irion’s offensive philosophy blends modern spread principles with a deep understanding of player strengths. His offenses are known for their balance, tempo, and explosive play design—qualities that not only produce wins but also develop athletes who understand the game at a higher level.

Beyond the Playbook

While his professional résumé speaks volumes, Coach Irion’s greatest impact may lie in his ability to connect with players off the field. Over the past 11 years, he has dedicated himself to mentoring youth through nonprofit initiatives with the South Sound YMCA, where he helps young people set goals, develop leadership skills, and pursue personal growth through sports. His belief that “football is a classroom for life” resonates in everything he does, inspiring athletes to carry the lessons of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance far beyond the field.

Eyes on the 2026 All State Game

As the 2026 All State Game approaches, Coach Irion’s inclusion on the official roster marks another milestone in his distinguished career. For him, it’s not just about drawing up plays—it’s about building young men of character, giving them a platform to showcase their abilities, and preparing them for the next level of competition.

“I’ve always believed that great coaching is about teaching,” Irion notes. “It’s about helping players believe in themselves, trust their preparation, and perform with confidence when the lights come on.”

With his proven track record of excellence, Coach Bryan Irion is poised to make a tremendous impact on the athletes competing in next summer’s All State Game. His combination of championship pedigree, offensive innovation, and genuine mentorship makes him a perfect embodiment of what the All State Game stands for—developing champions on and off the field.
